WIL-ALT-64. Here is an original photo that I took while riding in a Pennsylvania!Railroad passenger train from Harrisburg to Altoona on 03 July 1964. Shown here (R to L) are partial views of PRR engines #2239 and #2245. Both are EF-22's built by EMD#in 1963 and rated at 2,250 horsepower each. They are pulling an eastbound merchandise freight train near Perdix, Pennsylvania. Visible in the distance is Blue Mountaio. (That train is moving left to right; my train is moving right to left.)

PRR 2217, EF-22, 1964
Description:
4th Street. Here is an original photo that I took of Pennsylvania Railroad trains in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on 15 August 1964. Shown here are PRR engines #2217, #2211, #2219, #2206, and #2245. All are EF-22's built by EMD in 1963 and rated at 2,250 horsepower each. They are about to pass under the 4th Street Bridge with an 80-car TrucTrain bound for Enola and points East. The caboose is #477866. Also visible are two westbound freight trains awaiting orders to proceed, as well as two passenger cars awaiting reconditioning in the PRR's Passenger Car Shops behind them. Visible in the center distance, beyond the 7th Street Bridge, are some of the PRR's 12th Street Shop buildings.

Description:
Bellwood. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train at Pinecroft ~ just west of Bellwood, Pennsylvania ~ on 26 June 1965. Shown here (R to L) are PRR engines #2245, #2350, and #2282. All were built by EMD. #2245 is an EF-22 built in 1963 and rated at 2,250 horsepower. #2350 and #2282 are EF-25's rated at 2,500 horsepower each; #2350 was built in 1965, but #2282 was built in 1964. They are pulling a 95-car westbound ore train with N-8 caboose #478170. Photo taken from the Riggle's Gap Bridge.

Birmingham. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train in Birmingham, Pennsylvania, on 16 April 1966. Shown here are PRR engines #2245, #2242, and two other units whose numbers are not visible. #2245 and #2242 are EF-22's buit by EMD in 1963 and rated at 2,250 horsepower each. They are pulling an eastbound mixed-cargo freight train through what was once the whistlestop at Birmingham ~ site of the Grier School for Girls, the Birmingham School for Girls before that, and the Mountain Female Seminary before that!

PRR 6069, EF-30A, c. 1967
Description:
Mann. Here is a photo showing (L to R) Pennsylvania Railroad engines #6069 and #2245. Both were built by GM-EMD. #6069 is an EF-30A constructed in February of 1966 and rated at 3,000 horsepower, while #2245 is EF-22 built in May of 1963 and rated at 2,250 horsepower. The photographer's name, the date, and the location are not recorded. (Gift from Brad Mann.)
