David Stewart	General	Man, Thay did a very BAD job here on the body, I can't figure out why in the hell they would take the windows out and do such a sloy job to try and replace them. Note also, That there are not any lift bar atchaments so that a crew member can pull the pin from the stair well. it still has the old style from it's days in Mexico and a hand rail as if it had foot plates which have been baned in the states since the late sevanties.	3/23/2008 10:11:14 AM

David Stewart	General	After checking out other shots here, I'll bet that in Mexico widows got busted out and the only way to replace them was to rob them of other units. Man if it did not rain in Mexico, They woundn't use windows at all!	3/23/2008 10:14:43 AM

John Netzlof	General	Little Rock & Western has an SW1504 numbered 1542, i'm assuming it to be the same unit, the cab's window shave all been replaced with traditional Switcher cab ones, as well as the unit being repainted into a fresher Orange & yellow.	6/11/2009 3:15:49 PM

Close up of the cab on GNWR 1542, just returned from working on a GWI subsidiary in Mexico. Note the blanked cab windows on round window applied to rear door. Think an ancient EMD "E" or "F" unit is missing a window somewhere in Mexico???
