UPP 814-Auxiliary Water Tender "Joe Jordan"         
UP has rebuilt their water tenders from their "Big Blow" look since the last time I saw one. They are now back down to the bare steam tenders they started with, and blend into the train much better. Compare this with a view of UPP 809 from last year: http://uptrain.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=386354 . 809 is currently getting the same treatment.

David Mead General Good initiative carrying its own additional water tender. I like the yellow livery to blend in with the rolling stock. Our 4472 Flying Scotsman loco had an additional tender for a short period in restoration days but for some reason it was done away with. 9/12/2007 1:18:55 AM
