Built in 1935 by American Car & Foundry for the B&O Royal Blue train (1935-37). It is an ACF low-profile aluminum carbody. The observation car eventually ended up on the Alton RR and GM&O as the "Abraham Lincoln" observation car. Now it is preserved at the National Museum of Transportation in Kirkwood, MO. The slide is from the Conniff collection. No photographer was listed. |
