| Recently repainted P42 #164 leads the southbound "Carolinian" or known to some as "Train #79" under the "RO" signals located in Arlington,Virginia along the CSX Richmond Fredericksburg & Potomac Subdivision on July 15th,2023. This unit was repainted earlier this year due to the "original Phase 4 Heritage" unit #184 unit back in March of this year being repainted, unit #164 was unveiled in the earlier part of May this year. The journey of Amtrak 79 started at Penn Station in New York and will terminate in Charlotte,North Carolina. |
