| Madison Mine, a Baldwin S-12 switcher, was in the former C&O yards at Huntington, WV in early 1980 (before March, certainly). The reason why this Baldwin was in the C&O yards is unknown to me. C&O 8248 hovers in the background. The cloudy sky obscures the stark black and white of the engine, lettering, and white stripe along the side sill. |
