Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5687, a B-1 (C) electric switcher built in Juniata during November of 1934, rated at 570 horsepower, renumbered "4755" in November of 1966 in preparation for the PRR-NYC merger, and retired in January of 1969 after 25 years of service. Note that the wooden window frames are painted red! |
