| While passing through Texas, I found this old MKT gem in Denison. Parked at the Red River Railroad Museum is MKT 401B. I had seen a very well done custom model of this unit years ago and it always peaked some interest. Had to do some light digging to find some general history for this unit. - Rebuilt in December of 1974 from F3A 66C by MKT, numbered MKT 399; renumbered to MKT 401B in April 1975 upon entering service. |
