Southern Pines Hill         
CSX 7600 crests Southern Pines Hill. You can see behind the cars on just how steep a grade it is. The SCL used to have a double track to the left of the 7600 which ran for a number of miles. There was a cross over about where the cars start to show in this picture.

Eugene Cain General That's all jointed Rail??? I thought it was mostly welded up through there. I have seen Pictures of the Double Track in SAL Days...it was neat and the Signal Bridges were neat as well. Great Picture!!!!!! 4/17/2011 11:30:22 AM
