Georgetown Breckenridge and Leadville Railroad 2-8-0 Class B-4G 40 at Silver Plume, Colorado on an unknown day in August 1984, Kodachrome by Edward M. DeRouin, Chuck Zeiler collection. Number 40 was built by Baldwin in 1920 ( c/n 53777 ) as an outside frame 2-8-0 for the Guatemala Railway as number 50, later the International Railways of Central America ( IRCA ) in Guatemala, renumbered in 1928 to IRCA 40. It was sold to the Colorado Central in 1972, and in 1977 it was moved to the Georgetown Loop tourist operation. |
