| Built by Budd in 1952 as Pennsylvania Railroad observation lounge car #7129 named Alexander Hamilton. The car was a regular on the PRR’s Congressional and Senator trains. To Penn Central Transportation Company in 1968 same name & number. In 1971, the car was sold to Amtrak & renumbered 3712. In 1977 sold to Southern Pacific & used as a business car. Bought by Denver Railcar l then to Morristown & Erie Railway in 2004. Used for the Maine Eastern service from 2007 to 2013. |
