| Gulf Mobile & Ohio RS3 number 1517 was working the railroad's Shoreline Braoch local from Bogalusa to Covington, Louisiana and had just paid a visit to the agent at the Southern Railway's depot in Slidell to exchange paperwork. Now that everyone was back on board, the engine was returning north on the Southern's "back track" to the GM&O connection about a mile away so it could cjntinue on its way to Covington. |
