This un-numbered Erath Sugar Co. loco was switching the company's mill along the Southern Pacific's Midland Branch at Erath, Louisiana. The loco had been built by Vulcan as serial number 4322 in August 1941. It was b 175-horsepower, 30-ton diesel-mechanical unit, built for use by the U.S. Navy at Corpus Christi, Texas.
