Amtrak 10 roomette-6 double bedroom (10RM-6DB) sleeper #2608 PACIFIC CREST. Built by Budd in January 1950 in Lot #9660-039 to Pullman Plan #9522 as UP PACIFIC CREST, later had #1410 applied, sold to Amtrak in 1971 as #2608, converted to head end power (HEP) in 1980 as #2436, retired in 2002 and sold to Illinois Transit Assembly (ITAX) in Madison, IL, now Gateway Coach. Scanned with an Epson V550 from an original Kodachrome 35mm slide. |
