The engineer poses in his Baldwin 0-6-0 switcher in Villa Grove, IL. The loco was originally built in October of 1910 as C&EI #61 but was renumbered and reclassified as CEI #3645 in 1911. The loco was assigned to the Evansville, IN yard for awhile. Eventually it was scrapped in February of 1948 at Danville, IL. Sid Davies photo |
