Spacer car         
This is the famous spacer car that is used on NS locals P16 and P17. I do not know its number, but note the MU cables near the coupler.

Joseph Hinson General Famous is what I wrote, not infamous. Famous in these parts and made moreson by a mid 1990s Jim Wrinn Trains article detailing it's use as a spacer car on this line in the Carolinas. 11/27/2008 4:22:02 AM
