BNSF 8705 still wears the Santa Fe blue and yellow scheme proudly on March 31, 2013, in the Abilene, KS yards. No numberboards: the BNSF and engine number are painted on the rear panel of the unit. Notice, also, the shock absorbers on the rightmost axle of each truck. |
