Waiting for the approaching yardman, the engineer waits expectantly at the cab window. This 1912 Canadian Locomotive Company Consolidation-type locomotive looks sharp on this cold February day in Canada. The M-5-a class loco could produce a respectable 40,420 lb tractive effort. Note on the back by photographer Mendel Greenblatt states "Works at Campbellton", which is some 300 km away. |
