Built by the DL&W in 1915 as part of a massive rebuilding of it's main line between Scranton, PA, and Binghamton, NY. 240 ft. high and 1/4 mile long, it's the largest reinforced concrete bridge in the world. Used daily by Canadian Pacific. Photo taken from a scenic pull-over on US 11 south of Nicholson on the west side of the bridge. |
