Q410 crawls eastbound on this stormy spring day. Running second is CN 2162, which was built as an ATSF Warbonnet. That unit has surely traversed a lot of the western and northern expanses of North America. Welcome to the east coast! The train is traveling on CSXs Trenton Subdivision at the West Falls Bridge; originally built in 1890 by the Philadelphia & Reading Railroad. To the left is the Schuylkill River Viaduct, another ex-Reading structure, built in 1856. (Catch footage of this train at http://www.youtube.com/user/PhillyRxRail?feature=watch) |
