| BN GP39-2 2704 runs long-hood forward as it brings the Anacortes Local through Whitney Wa early in 1974. In the '80s it was frequently a 1 or 2-unit train; since then several more industries have popped up on the line and it now typically uses 3 or 4 locomotives for its Monday through Saturday work. I've always liked this shot; with the low light and engineer in the cab window. |
