| This is train 176(8) and what can't be seen in this photograph is that locomotive 942 has had a failure of the audible portion of the cab signal system and is operating rule 556, limiting the speed of the train to 79 MPH. Arrangements have already been made and locomotive 935 is in position at Philadelphila waiting to replace the 942 to get the train speed back to its authorized 125 MPH. |
