The Amtrak 40th Anniversary Exhibit Train sits at the station in San Diego, California, on December 3; 2011. The power has been reversed, as the train was towed into town the night before behind Pacific Surfliner #582, but when it leaves San Diego on December 4th the power will run around to the other end and Dash 8-40BP 822 will power the train (since 406 is an unpowered NPCU, rebuilt from F40PH 406).
