One of D 22s other assignments was to run the Owego & Harford interchange to Owego twice a week, part of the trackage rights that D&H received as a condition of Conrails start up. A variety of power ran these trains over the years, including a wide variety of Alcos. By 2003 the Alcos were gone, but you could still find interesting power on the train. Here we see it head west from the new bridge connecting NY 17C to NY 17 across the river at Apalachin. |
