A good variety of power sitting at Railway Service Contractors in Kansas City's Fairfax District on a nice February afternoon. The most visible locomotive, EMD GP35 631, was built as GM&O 631 in January 1965, and was restored into the GM&O black-and-white livery in Mobile, Alabama in 1997. However, the locomotive fell into disrepair and jumped owners until finally ending up at Railway Service Contractors at Kansas City in January 2015 where it still sits to this day wearing primer with an uncertain future. |
