The shop forces of the Clinchfield never acclimated to the 6 big General Electric U36C's as their roster was so heavily dominated by EMD products. Accordingly, a trade was arranged with owner Seaboard Coast Line Railroad for a like number of SD45's. SCL was heavily dominated with 4 axle GE power so both railroads wound up with units more suited to their rosters. SCL 2130 later became SBD/CSX 7305 |
