| CSX job Y-305 with CSXT 5956 running hammerhead style passes eastbound through New Orleans's City Park on the Norfolk Southern's "Back Belt" line as it brings a transfer cut from Canadian National Railway's ex-IC Mays yard in Metairie, Louisiana. Much of the traffic in this train came from the numerous chemical plants along the Mississippi River between New Orleans and Baton Rouge. The lanes of Interstate Highway 610 can be seen at right. |
