NS (WAB) Station, Moberly MO
Description:
The NS (ex WAB) station at Moberly MO in 1994. At one time the Moberly Division dispatcher offices occupied the 2d floor; the last passenger train called here in 1969. For whatever reason, after having visited Moberly many, many times over 20 years I finally stopped to shoot this building in 1994. It was heavily damaged by a tornado the following year and subsequently demolished. The adjacent REX structure still stands and holds a historical collection.
