SRC 31, 0-6-0, 1963
Title:  SRC 31, 0-6-0, 1963
Description:  SRC-1963. Here is an original photo that I took of a Strasburg Rail Road locomotive near Strasburg, Pennsylvania, on 11 August 1963. Shown here is the head end of SRC engine #31, an 0-6-0 built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during August of 1908 ~ some 55 years earlier! It is pulling our excursion train to Paradise, where the SRC connects with the Pennsylvania Railroad ~ whereupon it will uncouple, pass around to the other end of our train, recouple, and then pull the train back to the Strasburg Station.
