Description:
Built by Lima in October of 1923, this 2-8-2 Mikado first wore the Illinois Central number of IC 1951. The IC shops rebuilt and renumbered the locoas IC 1439 in January of 1943. It served until being sold for scrap in May of 1955. Rebuilt specs - 63.5" drivers, 225 psi boiler pressure, 27x30" cylinders, engine weight of 308,500 lb, tractive effort of 65,868 lb. No photographer was listed for the photo.
